Rebrand Turners Auctions to Turners

Due to low spontaneous awareness and an outdated and static reputation a new brand was created for Turners. The brand delivered ownership of Turners identity across all business units while retaining the heritage of the company. The brand helped reflect the expanding nature of the Turners business to be a multi-channel, multi-product, customer focussed retailer. Work included research and customer insight, design, testing and implementation.

Web site build, online advertising and conversions

In partnership with web development team built new website and managed continuing improvements in content and user experience. Updated paid and organic search and online advertising to increase quality online conversions while reducing monthly spend. Achieved over 250,000 unique web visitors every month.

Product launch

Created online and TV campaign to extend the car trade in offer to damaged, unwarranted and broken down cars. Clarified opportunity, assessed competitors, talked to customers/market, created offer and campaign, got back end processes in place and engaged delivery team. Result was 140% increase in sales.

National promotion programme

Successfully increased sales by creating a national standard of sales promotions for both 16 individual branches and nationwide campaigns. Included pre and post sales analysis and campaign standards.

Campaign creation and customer channel shift

Created Buy Now campaign (TV, online) and finance messaging (online, on car and in branch point of sale) to shift sales from traditional outcry auction channels to multi-channel retail. Leveraged consumer law changes to help change customer perception from traditional (auction) to retail.
